Get a Jumpstart on Winter

We know, we know, the calendar just switched to fall and we’re already talking about winter. But we just want to make sure you are prepared for all that these colder months bring! As much as we may love snowy days and chilly temperatures, our skin really isn’t a big fan. It becomes super dry, may even crack, and ain’t nobody got time for that. But fear not because we’ve got you covered (literally) with this super simple DIY recipe for dry winter skin! 


Winter Weather Body Butter 

  • 4 oz. V6 Vegetable Oil Complex (you can get this straight from Young Living!)
  • 4 oz. coconut oil (solid form)
  • 10 drops each of Lemon, Lavender, and Gentle Baby
  • Small glass jar 

Melt the coconut oil over a double boiler or slowly in the microwave and let cool, but not harden. Add in the essential oils and V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex or other liquid carrier oil of choice. Jojoba or sweet almond oils are great options to support dry skin! Beat with a hand mixer until it creates a whipped consistency, much like icing. Store in an airtight glass jar and apply to problem areas as needed.
