Taco ‘Bout a Party

Taco Tuesday is definitely a thing, especially for a great little at-home celebration each week during this crazy time. If you’re not already enjoying a little fiesta in your life, we suggest incorporating this fun tradition into your routine this summer with these delicious oil-infused recipes. Truly, what could possibly go wrong when you combine essential oils and delicious tacos for a refreshing meal in the middle of summer!? You guessed it – nothing! So grab your grocery list, add these yummy ingredients, fill your Young Living shopping cart with a few crucial essential oils, and you have the recipe for a perfect Taco Tuesday! 


Pico De Gallo

We got this recipe straight from the Young Living Blog and let us tell you, it is sooo fresh and delicious. Seriously. You’ll never eat traditional salsa ever again! 

    • 3 cups diced fresh tomatoes 
    • ½ cup diced white or yellow onion
    • ½ cup diced red onion
    • 2 tsp lime juice 
    • 2-3 drops Lime Vitality essential oil
    • garlic salt to taste


Simply mix all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl, grab your favorite tortilla chips, and go to town. We dare you not to eat it all in one sitting! 


Cilantro Lime Rice

Serve up your favorite chicken, fish, or beef tacos paired with this light and fresh Cilantro Lime Rice. Wanna know the best part? No cilantro or limes are actually required! Just prepare your favorite rice, add in a dash of butter with 2 drops of Lime Vitality and 1 drop of Cilantro Vitality essential oils, stir, and enjoy. Oh, and if you do happen to have some fresh cilantro laying around, it wouldn’t hurt to top it all off as an added garnish. Yum!


Lime Margaritas

Whether you enjoy an alcohol-free mocktail or an adult all-the-alcohol cocktail, be sure to include a drop or two of Lime Vitality essential oil each time you indulge. We promise it will step your margarita game up to a whole new level and you’ll never go back to your old cocktail ways again!


Strawberry Mint Popsicles

Top your whole Taco Tuesday off with an equally refreshing healthy summertime treat. Grab your favorite popsicle mold to make these delicious Strawberry Mint Popsicles!

    • 3 cups crushed strawberries
    • ¼ cup lemonade
    • ¼ cup maple syrup 
    • 1-2 drops Peppermint Vitality EO


Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and then pour into popsicle molds. Place molds in the freezer for 4-6 hours and enjoy this light treat after a full-course meal of tacos with all the fixings!
