Summer Cooldown

The summer months may be coming to a close, but the hot summer sun and heat of the day don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. May we suggest cooling down and cheering up with some of our favorite essential oil-infused treats? Yes please! Let us help you survive these final HOT days of sweet summertime with these COOL recipes!


Peppermint Cooling Spray

  • 15-20 drops Peppermint essential oil
  • 1 tbsp witch hazel
  • distilled water

Add ingredients to a 6 oz. glass or stainless steel spray bottle. Fill the remainder of the bottle with distilled water, apply cap, shake well, and spray back on arms or the back of the neck for a quick and easy cooldown


Raspberry Lime Popsicles

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 tbsp lime juice or water
  • ½ tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup yogurt of choice 
  • 8-10 drops Lime Vitality essential oil

In a small bowl, combine raspberries, juice/water, and maple syrup. In a separate bowl, combine yogurt and Lime essential oil. In your favorite popsicle mold, fill each space ¾ full of the yogurt mixture and top with the berry mixture. Place in freezer for until frozen through (appx. 5-6 hours) and enjoy! 


Ningxia Lemonade

  • 6 cups of Lemonade of your choice
  • 2 oz. of NingXia Red

In a large pitcher, combine lemonade and NingXia Red. Just stir, add ice, and sit back and relax with this delicious and refreshing pick-me-up! 


Basil Strawberry Splash

  • 2 mashed strawberries
  • 16 ounces of water
  • 1 toothpick dipped in a bottle of Basil Vitality EO

Combine ingredients in a large pitcher stirring with ice. Maybe even add a splash of your favorite adult beverage if you’re feeling frisky!


Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 drops Orange Vitality essential oil

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and stir for several minutes to allow the sugar to completely dissolve. Add ½ cup small chocolate chips or chunks of oranges for a little extra something special if you’d like! Chill for 30-60 minutes in the refrigerator before following instructions for your ice cream maker. Don’t have an ice cream machine? Try this tasty alternative of making healthy orange creamsicle bars by mixing 1 cup orange juice, 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 2 drops Orange Vitality in a blender and pouring into popsicle molds! Pro tip: if you just want to enjoy the aroma of orange creamsicle bliss, throw equal parts Orange and Stress Away in your diffuser. You’re welcome!
