The summer months may be ending quickly, but the hot summer sun and heat of the day don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon! Cool down and cheer up with some of our favorite essential oil-infused treats to help you survive these final HOT days of sweet summertime! Let’s chat about how you can cool down this summer!
In a 6oz. glass or stainless steel spray bottle mix:
• 15-20 drops Peppermint essential oil
• 1 tablespoon Witch Hazel
Fill the rest of the bottle with Distilled Water, apply the cap, shake well, and spray the back of the neck for a quick and easy cooldown!
In a small bowl, mix:
• 1 cup frozen raspberries
• 2 tablespoons lime juice or water
• ½ tablespoon Maple Syrup
In a separate bowl, mix:
• 1 cup Yogurt of choice
• 8-10 drops Lime Vitality essential oil
Fill ¾ of your popsicle mold with your Lime + Yogurt mixture, then top with your Raspberry mixture. Place in the freezer for 5-6 hours or until frozen and enjoy!
In a glass pitcher, combine:
• 6 cups of Lemonade of your choice
• 2 oz. of Ningxia Red
Stir, add ice, and sit back and relax with your favorite book and an ice-cold refreshing pick-me-up!
In a glass pitcher, combine:
• 2 mashed strawberries
• 16 ounces of water
• 1 toothpick dipped in a bottle of Basil Vitality essential oil
Stir, add ice, maybe even a spritz of an adult beverage to spice things up, and dream of long walks on the beach with zero house chores or child-rearing to be taken care of!
As much as we love all that the summer months offer, we know how hard it is to try to stay cool, calm, and collected when the heat rises. We hope these favorite recipes of ours will help add a little chill to your hot summer days and help you feel relaxed and carefree, as summer should be!
